So i got a 2002 2500 silverado duramax, i want to make 650-750 rwhp, but i don't want to have to mess with building the axles and engine.

i have a list of parts and i was wondering if that would get me to 700ish rwhp, also what am i missing from the list to get me to that mark?

1. K&N 77 Series Air Intake System 77-3034KP
http://www.xtremediesel.com/kandn77seriesairintakesystem77-3034kp.aspx
2.ATS Aurora 5000 Turbo System capable of boost levels of over 60 PSI capable of producing power levels of over 700 HP on diesel fuel alone while still allowing street manners
http://www.xtremediesel.com/atsaurora5000turbosystem.aspx
3.ATS 3139054248 LCT-1000 Stage 5 Rebuild Kit with controller ect..
http://www.xtremediesel.com/ats3139054248lct-1000stage5rebuildkit.aspx
4.ARP Diesel Head Stud Kit 230-4201
http://www.xtremediesel.com/arpdieselheadstudkit230-4201.aspx
5.ATS Diesel Twin CP3 Fuel System and controller
http://www.xtremediesel.com/atsdieseltwincp3fuelsystem.aspx
and a couple other things like an edge tuner, efi live.
also what over injectors would i need?

Reliably at that power level you will need rods.
Skip on to be K&N setup (search it, there are better options)
Don't do the edge tuner get just EFI live, and gauges
Have a reputable shop build the trans, it will live longer at the 700hp mark

There are many here that have hit that mark, they will have more information on what combos work. I think it is going to be more involved then you are planning.

Dude....there's a search tab at the top of this page. Do some research on this topic & be aware that your playing with fire at that power level, so be prepared to spend some coin.

First step is to build the trans. The stock turbo & fuel system will support 500 ponies at the tire & make for a fun & somewhat reliable setup.

:gotsearch: The K&N is made to fit a stock turbo intake horn. You don't need head studs. 40-60% overs. Give Mike L a call about the trans. Do a ton more research and shoot for 500 rwhp first.

One word: Boom

Newbie, start reading first. Once you come up with an actually realistic plan, then come ask about particulars. This may be a performance forum, but we aren't going to help you destroy your truck.

That's not the case. It's just fairly obvious you don't know anything about the truck you're trying to mod and by jumping right out of the gate with a goal of 700hp we realize it's not realistic and won't happen.

It's the internet bud don't take it so serious:thumb: I can assure you that this site is the site for performance...

What kind of budget do you have to work with? What mods do you currently have done to the truck?

I would start a new List. Also what is the truck used for? Racing, Pulling, DD, Towing? all of them would take different approaches.

Get the Trans Built 1st by a shop that knows what they are doing. eg. Mike L (Inglewood Transmission) Talk to him about your end goals.

Get EFI Live - it is Hands down the best for our trucks but get is from a Proven Tuner Look in the "Candy Store" part of this Forums

Then Stop looking at ATS there is better and cheaper out there.

the truck will be used as a driver, and hauling hay ect.., and weekend warrior, grudge racing something that will put down anything on the street.
1.efi live is the first thing i am looking at doing.
2. trans
then look at engine?

Someday I hope to be that high in power levels
This is row at I plan on doing if it helps some
1. Intake/exhaust (better breathing for the engine)
2. EFI live by a reputable tuner (one that will retune with mods added later)
3. Built trans by a reputable builder
4. Get a donor engine to build so my truck isn't down forever
Build it with Carrillo rods, fingers Pistons, AF cam, ported heads, head studs, main studs, girdle, billet injector hold downs, screw in injector cups (more than likely an LBZ swap instead) 60% minimum injectors, balance the rotating assembly, key the crank and cam, probably a few more internal mods that I can't think of right now. Turbo setup tbd
This may be overkill for the 700hp mark but when you hit that you are still going to want more.
5. Fix crap as it breaks

If you search this topic there are several builds that tell you exactly what they put in it, and the HP yield of that build.
I think you probably need to think up a solid budget and go from there. It isn't a cheap game to play especially at that power level.

Out and about
As some have said skip the plug and play tuner and get EFI live. Talk with your person that is going to be doing the tuning abt your power goals. Most will update your tuning as you upgrade your truck.

There is a lot of knowledge to learn on here as some said do a search for what others have done, there are a lot of nice people willing to help.

A s475 with a built transmission and 100 over injectors is a lot of fun, to much power and traction is the biggest problem, yes it's fun to say you have xxxx hp, but if you can't hook up and get the power to the ground a pris will walk away from ya.
