So on Friday after work I put the Camaro on the lift and proceeded to tear it down...

Bernie shortened my 2 remaining link bars for me. He did a nice job, no surprise there.

For the rest of the evening, I tore down the front subframe and sanded the subframe and axle and loaded the axle in the booth. The next morning, finished prepping out the subframe, link bars, wishbone and brackets, and loaded them into the booth.

After cleaning and etching them, sprayed them with white sealer.

After painting everything on Saturday, I moved onto the underside of the Camaro. Sanding, cleaning, masking, and seam sealing literally everything. Sunday morning I came back and welded 2 pieces of tubing in the 4 link brackets for a little added strength.

Then I undercoated the floor, except for the 4 link brackets.

My phone had a hard time focusing on the floor because of the lighting, so not many pictures of it.

I took the suggestions of Bernie to not undercoat the 4 link brackets because of tight tolerances for the heim joints, so I painted them gloss black.

While that was drying I took my parts out of the booth and got everything ready to reinstall.

Big thanks to Tony and Geoff for helping me get the subframe on and the rear axle bolted in.

Came to work this morning and got the tires mounted and had to adjust the link bars to get the axle centered again.

And also painted my steering shaft since it was bare metal.

That's pretty much it for now. More to come next weekend...
