man, i was just talking about this with a buddy today. my 02 with 80-85k on it gets 2wheelbearings(3 months apart), had a 6" lift, and offset wheels. my 01, which is my work truck, 285s and factory rims; it has a heavy ass boss vee plow on it every winter and pulls a trailer 5-6 days a week for the past 8yrs, is still on its factory bearings with close to 200k on it. my theory is us guys with with lifts and or offset wheels are trashing these wheelbearings easier than with the factory rim/offset. i would get timkens with the lifetime warranty and keep the reciept in the glovebox because you(we) will be changing them again guaranteed
My trucks only been lifted a few weeks. It's had h2s on it most of it's life too but I do agree with you
