Well here's what I've been working on here lately. Me and my dad have had this car for 13 years. This is a 1923 Ford T-Bucket. He bought the car when I was 7. The car ran great the first year we had it, then everything you could think of went wrong after the first year. The following year, dad decided to take it all back down to the frame and start from the beginning.
5 years after dad took it down to the frame, he had the frame dipped to strip any wires and prevent any rust from developing. Then 3 years after the frame was dipped he purchased a nice set of Weld Wheels.
Well he never got back to it....
So now we are finally back to working on the car. Thrusday we took the rear-end and sandblasted it ourselves. After sandblasting, we primered the rear end and frame and was ready for paint. Well this is where we are now.
The color is a sunset orange, which we plan on using for the body as well.
The body is in bad shape. Alot of body work is needed around the door area and where the seat lays. The seat area needs to be taken back so that we are able to fit in the car comfortably.
Here is one of the front wheels that are going to be on the car
Here is one of the rear wheels already fitted with some Mickey Thompsons.
