Well here's what I've been working on here lately. Me and my dad have had this car for 13 years. This is a 1923 Ford T-Bucket. He bought the car when I was 7. The car ran great the first year we had it, then everything you could think of went wrong after the first year. The following year, dad decided to take it all back down to the frame and start from the beginning.

5 years after dad took it down to the frame, he had the frame dipped to strip any wires and prevent any rust from developing. Then 3 years after the frame was dipped he purchased a nice set of Weld Wheels.

Well he never got back to it....

So now we are finally back to working on the car. Thrusday we took the rear-end and sandblasted it ourselves. After sandblasting, we primered the rear end and frame and was ready for paint. Well this is where we are now.

The color is a sunset orange, which we plan on using for the body as well.

The body is in bad shape. Alot of body work is needed around the door area and where the seat lays. The seat area needs to be taken back so that we are able to fit in the car comfortably.

UPDATE:

Just had the tires added onto the front wheels. Little bit more work to the front end before we can put on the wheels and start on the brakes. Wilwood Outllaw Calibers are on the to do list after some work is done to the rotors. Then hopefully when the calibers are in and the rotors are done, we'll begin with the brake lines etc etc. Price Quote on Engine build/Supercharger tomorrow.

Little more progress:
Got the front wheels/tires on, polished the front end, and got the headlights on. We also put on a couple of parts on that need to be painted, but we are making progress.
We also just dropped the motor off to be rebuilt. Now we need the front brakes, brake lines done, BODY WORK/BODY PAINT, and of course electronics. But most of it is going to wait till the motor is done.

Been awhile eh? Well I figured I'd bring back this thread for a nice update.

So the body has been finished and painted, I'm picking it up in my truck Friday. We plan on getting some new Autometer gauges so ignore whats in the pictures. We also are also going with new interior, probably a black vinyl to match with the color, but we're waiting until the motor and everything has been wired up and put together. So the interior will probably be the LAST thing.
