Maybe look at timing..
Timing is retarded, may not be enough, but it is retarded a decent amount.
I can brake stall mine to about 2400 1st high range in my DD.
Nice! Guess I need to try and work on the tuning then.

I can hold my 1058 until about 2700 rpm. Maybe you need new/better brakes.
Might try changing power steering fluid. Try to pull your ABS fuses and see if it helps too
2700! That is crazy. Maybe I need better brakes. What kind of boost ate you seeing that high?
Found the log where I did the test. 2650 rpm and 26 psi of boost.

Take log and see what kind of timing it's commanding. There are like 10 multipliers that can take it up to 10* more than what is in the box on the base timing map. A stock charger should get to 20psi with little effort. Change the PS fluid while you're at it. I have a 58 and it gets to 2400ish before walking the brakes.
Actually tried it again today it still wasent pushin at 2700 on the tach.

You must have some monster brakes, because there ain't no way I'm holding mine back to 2700.
I did it with stock brakes.

What's the key in the tuning in this situation? Severely retarded timing?
