My .02... retired trucks stay on. This list is as much about the "history" of the sport as it is about who's currently running. If you cant beat someone's time from 6 years ago with all we know today about chargers/twins/fueling/tuning/etc, then that tells you something about how much effort and thought was put into that truck back then, and really makes you appreciate what those trailblazers did.
You disrespect people like the Orange Crush crew and Keith Batchelor (NastyGirl) and all they went through (esp Keith) if you remove those trucks off the list.

I'm with you Tom, I don't want to remove them either. Brian, you'd have to go back on the list and look at either Dmitri's or maybe Trent's to see the previous record. I think it's Trent's in Extreme Prejudge

trent was a 9.87 i believe my red crew was 9.98 and camomax at 9.91 ish, was the ending of last seasons standings with the best mph held by trent at 143. This year we fired out of the gate in florida with a 9.9 at 148 to start the season, so we took the mph record, then in texas ran that 9.75 taking the et record. Now dropping it a lil further with that 9.5 in indy. Ken please dont take the duramini off the list as im putting it back together to come after robs record in supper street:woott: A lil friendly comp so to speak:D

I'm getting awfully close to the chopping block. I sure wish I had mounted up some slicks and turned the damn thing up as far as I could just to see how far into the 10s I could get. I thought it would live for a while if I was nice to it...

The difference is I will never have the chance to improve my standing on the list.
