    Allison 5sp: Help! Shift Range Inhibited

    Not to hijack your thread but I am having the save problem but mine only says "range shift inhibited" in 4lo and in reverse. It feels like its jumping out of gear and I can go to neutral and then back to reverse and its fine for just a few seconds. Any suggestions guys?

    Exactly what they said. I put one in the floor on the in the front passenger side and two in the floor in the back and seven under my toolbox.

    I would go with a 4wd if it was me. Its there if you ever need it and want have to unload your puller. I've been looking at this truck. It's a lil far for you but I figured I'd post it for you...

    built trans problems

    Finally talked to Suncoast. They said the trim valve in the valve body was stuck open and applying pressure to the C3's when it shouldn't have been. It was just a bad valve from the start. They refreshed it with new clutches, convertor and valve body.

    It had nothing bigger then a 150 horse tune on it for 7500 miles. I'm not rough on my truck. Downloaded the new tunes from Rob and everything was good for about a week. Took a buddy for a ride on my hot street tune which is about 150 horse pulled back in the drive way and it just stopped. Fluid...

    Sounds kind of like the problems I had with mine last week. Did pretty much the same thing. Pulled it and sent it to Suncoast and the C3's were gone. Only had 8k miles on it :mad:! My fluid was burnt though so thats how i could tell something was burnt up inside.

    DDM. Just put mine in about 2 weeks ago and love them. I went with 35watt 6k's in the lows and fogs.
