Like muscletruck03 said buy the program, if its too much for your budget find a good friend with a duramax and share the cost thats what I did. The problem with paying for a tune only is when you want to change it you have to go back to that person everytime.- jct404

what kind of mileage can you tune at 8100 for?
As for the gain in HP, not much maybe 30ish. Get rid of the Torque Managment that will make it feel like more. As for the mileage... its an 8.1 it needs fuel. The best I ever got was 12 on the highway. An average would be 9 to 10. Pulling something anywhere fro 6 to 9. I drove one for three...
