THx for all the response, What I found to be the problem was the front input shaft on the power steering box. It must have a bearing inside because when I try to tighten or loosen the lower intermediate shaft i actually get fluid to drip out. The clunk I feel in the steering is this bearing... -

THx for the info Im going to reduce the tow mode by 20% of the differential between the standard and the tow. This will keep the relationship of the curve the same.- JCM5
