LBZ: EFI LIve and Tow Mode sw on Shifter

First time user of EFI live. I have read the manuals and downloaded other tunes to look at so far.

I have read allot about having different tunes using the switch you can mount.
But what I'm curios is can you use the Tow mode switch on the shifter.

I would like to use this for two seperate tunes. I want to modify the tow tune only.

Is this possible and were do I look.

EFI Live enables you to modify ECM and TCM parameters...The T/H button only affects TCM operation, so pressing the button won't change ECM operation...The DSP5 feature gives you 5 sets of parameters to modify within the ECM...This is where I'd concentrate your tuning changes...

Short answer, no.

If you only want a tow tune then just upload one tune and run it all the time.

I guess what Im finding out more about the EFI Live that it allows you to modify existing Tables only. Not to mention the Scan portion. I guess why its called a tuning tool.

I wanted to go deeper and modify actual operating programs. Its the Programmer in me.

The truck is wonderful compared to my last 6.5.
