    For added stability. They angle straight forward instead of up. The added length makes for a flatter angle. Those are Tony's bars. Tony has a new front mount now though. The mount you see in the picture is what I believe is a Ford rear leaf spring hanger. At least that's what I'm using...

    Here's the best bars you can make. These are on Mike Tomac's truck. Rubber bushings on each end and ride really good. And these are about 71" long.

    Look at Tony Burkhards traction bars. That's the one and only way to build a bar that's reliable.

    I'll PM you the list of parts to aquire to build yourself the same traction bars the biggest of HP pullers are using. Trust me...you won't bent them or break them loose.

    Those go on the rear shackle. Caltracs run to the front of the spring.

    Yup!!! But it depends on class too I guess. I do know a couple of guys using Caltracs for pulling in the lower classes.

    Smarquish...for racing, pulling, or show? You can build a wicked strong set for pulling for under $350 with some legwork. Let me know and I can give you some guidance.

    Has anyone removed the body panels on the doors of their Silverado's? I'm wanting to remove mine and worried there will be holes underneath them. I'm planning on Herculining the rockers from front to back and need those gone.
