    i was driving 55mph slowed to about30mph to make a turn tranny downshifted to 3rd and would not upshift came to a stop now tranny stuck in1st gear code was for speed sensor circuit malfunction found both wires broken at speed sensor on tailshaft fixed those other speed sensor wires test ok...

    Worked on it with it all still up in the truck. So what is the problem? And could you explain what the difference is and why it has to be done this way? Id like to understand the problem as much as the solution...

    I replaced the aluminum housing between the transmission and transfer case where the cross-member goes to the tranny. When I put it all back together, I only have drive. What have I done wrong?
