Worked on it with it all still up in the truck. So what is the problem? And could you explain what the difference is and why it has to be done this way? Id like to understand the problem as much as the solution...

This is tough to swallow I know. I am the friend that attempted this repair in the truck. Don't drive it or let Damion try to drive it... Haha. It's a bummer, but the trans needs to be pulled for this repair. Mike L. Is very knowledgable and can most likely answer any questions that you have. I pulled mine and took it to a trans shop. It was about a $800 mistake when I was said and done with parts and labor. I don't mean to get you down but you should know what your getting into.

I think people see bolts and figure they have the sockets and the ratchet. Should be a wam bam thank you ma'am type of in and out repair....and so many people only come to the forum AFTER something has already gone wrong and they need help.
