allison stuck in 1st gear

i was driving 55mph slowed to about30mph to make a turn tranny downshifted to 3rd and would not upshift came to a stop now tranny stuck in1st gear code was for speed sensor circuit malfunction found both wires broken at speed sensor on tailshaft fixed those other speed sensor wires test ok tranny still wont shift how can u tell if tcm is bad

What did you read the code with? Make sure the speed sensor wires are twisted tight. If you fixed them straight then it won't work.

took it to a transmission shop print out said problem was from speed sensor to tcm

Did you manually clear the code? Sometimes they don't clear on their own.

i am heading to my buddys shop now to clear codes after twisting sensor wires its now in limp mode 3rd gear

If it still has a problem; get the code numbers in sequence as they came out. It makes a difference.
