    When talking about BS the higher the number the closer to the truck the hub mounting flange is. I would stay with a 4.5 BS. I wouldn't run a 5" inch BS with a 16 or 17 inch wheel. A 5" BS would put the tire right up under the truck, flush with the fender. If you run a 4.5 it will push the tire...

    Good explination. Couldn't have done better myself. Prolly couldn't understand it if I typed it out. 8" yota diffs are worse. The 5:29s are a great ratio BUT, you would kill the pinion. You had to be very careful.

    I wear Oakley's. I had the same problem with all of the other glass' hurtng and being uncomfortable. I got these, M frame's, I got a clear lens and a tented lens. Bought the case too.     It's pretty easy to swap the sensors. I'm not sure how much a tire shop would charge you to do it. I'd do it just so the light would stay off.

    5:13's will do the job but you will run into strength issues on the pinion.

    4:56's hands down. It will put you pretty close back close back to stock. 37's will put a hurtin on that truck. If you ever go bigger than 38 you might want to drop a set of 4:88's in it FWIW

    IFS Woes Again

    I broke that stub shaft that bolts to the CV. I found one at a junk yard for 50 bucks. I couldn't bring myself to buy a new one from GM. I could have bought one from Randy's Ring and Pinion for 150. I know a guy that works there but i'm sure he'd give you the same deal.
