    Might be a bad ignition switch or a bad/loose relay in the fuse box.

    Probably more likely an electrical connector that's getting wet. Mine used to throw "shift range inhibited" code during a hard rain because the NSBU switch or connector was getting wet. You need to pull connectors apart, clean and dry them and lube with some dielectric grease.

    Yep, perfect time. Also, check all your fuel lines for leaks or cracks. Might be a good time to replace them with something better. Check you wiring and clean the connector contacts.

    Sad, Schaeffers is probably a good product, maybe just as good as the other better brands, but trying to peddle it with snake oil tricks would turn me off from ever buying it.

    Dex III is compatible with Transynd in a pinch. Most double drain fluid changes start out with Dex III & Transynd. I've never heard of anything getting hurt when they are mixed.

    Fill out your sig so people know something about what truck you have, very helpful. One thing that can cause overheating is too much fluid. If it's too full, the fluid will foam and cause overheating. Best fill point is just slightly under the "hot" mark when checked hot on a level surface...

    I went to three different tire shops and none would put anything bigger than 245s on my PYOs. They told me there was too much of a liability as (according to them) the narrow PYOs are not strong enough for the extra width and supposedly will stress the rim bead flanges when bigger tires are...

    Does it make any difference if the pump is running or not when checking the water drain on the AirDog water separator? (Just key on with pump running, truck not running, of course). Do you usually have to purge air out of the system after checking the water drain?

There's always a ton of them stacked up waiting to be fixed whenever I go to any of the diesel shops around me to buy fuel additives or accessories. I never see any Duramaxes there, only Fords and a few Dodges. I feel like I shouldn't...
