Its ugly. I kept staring at it thinking it would look better... 7 tall boys later it started to look pretty sexy. But the. I realized i had somehow ended up looking at some web page called blonde coeds... So that explained the sexiness thing
I would think with the pump pushing its 3/8 shouldnt bother it much... Could always enlarge it in the press and tap for 1/2 fittings. But I really don't think 3/8 will be an issue
What size is the stock dmax fuel line? I cant remember any more
Im thinking about just splicing it into exsisting fuel line. Are you all kounting your filter on the draw or push side?
The keyway may be stronger but the snout would lose more material. Im no engineer but less material=weaker. Now with the gear on the snout and key in the keyway, i understand that the voids are filled, in turn the gear would be holding the crank snout so the load spreads out to the gear also...
Dont let them try and fix it, they need to replace it. This isnt some small little sbc crank that will see 250 horse. The gear isnt even keyed from what i see.
I have screwed stuff up on a mill but i have never let it get that bad... Someone did the set it and forget it and the machine...
Man im sorry. If someone took our little 1845 case id be sick, they are like a good reliable friend to us.
