    I need to replace my thermostat housing crossover, dealer says my part is discontinued. I did find a part that match up, my only concern is for an LMM. My truck is LLY.

    I was not successful in taping the holes. Can I replace the bottom half of the housing?

    Yes they are and when I try to tight them up so I can torque to spec they just keep spinning

    The start of the bolts look fine. But I’m just a regular joe with basic mechanic skills lol

    Wondering if this has happen to anyone else? I am replacing my thermostats and when putting everything back together the 4 bolts that hold the thermostat housing just spins. Tried new bolts and still the same issue. I am guessing that I have to re thread the holes?

    Thanks for all the feedback guys, I might just do a silverado SS front and rear bumper. The SS bumper has a nice opening that the cooler get air with out cutting anything
