    It's actually a used block, it was in a fire and rusted up, the machine shop got it that clean. How it cleaned up that good is a shock to me as well. But the color is just its natural gray iron finish

    Also had crank keyed yes, forgot that in the process list. Cam comes Keyed And for anyone wondering the machine shop bill was $3600... I think he got hosed on that deal but maybe not. They did a very thorough job and I'm confident with everything.

    Truck blew a hole in #7 piston, scored the block too deep so I'm starting with a fresh Lmm block. I just picked it back up from the machine shop today. The procedures the performed were Oven baked and steam cleaned Replaced cam bearings Bored 20 over and torque honed Pan rails, front/rear...

    136" belt. Added a guide just before the cp3 pulley to keep it from jumping a rib at higher rpm's since it's such a long run.
