yeah, it's identifying the address on iCloud that has me bamfoozled. :confused::confused: I might have to share the picture first on Apple's photosharing option. I could always ask SIRI, :roflmao::roflmao: sometimes I crack myself up. lol
I just had a new 4 inch exhaust installed with the dpf/cat delete on my 2008 and did not notice any considerable increase in sound except when at cold idle. Actually it sounds pretty sweet now.
what is the benefit of the egr delete? I have the same year truck that I have owned since new and just recently replaced the exhaust and intake and added a tune by Diesel Addiction.
Can someone tell me how to post a photo. I have an apple computer and phone but cant identify a url for the photos I have on Icloud. Do I need a separate web based application like smugmug or what ever is popular these days?
The Cognito website recommends a 7-9 inch lift for 35 inch tires. I am currently running that set-up with the bars lowered so the front driveshaft geometry is almost flat. I think that the time and money spent trying to get the 4 inch lift to work is the same as if you just bought the 7-9 inch...
Truck is currently in the shop getting a Cognito 7-9 lift, new exhaust, cold air intake and tune. Will be installing 35 inch tires on 20 inch rims this weekend.
I haven't been this excited since I was a kid at Christmas.:rofl::rofl:
Dustin at Diesel Addiction is installing a Cognito 5-7 inch lift, new 4 inch exhaust, cold air kit and tune. The Ultra Phantom 20 x 9 rims and 35x12,5R20 tires are on order. I haven't been this excited since I was a kid at Christmas. :D:D:D
I am shopping for a 4 inch lift kit for my 2008 GMC 2500HD. It has 180,000 miles and I use it for a daily driver or towing a 8000# load. I am going to run 33 inch tires.
I can adjust the height on the trailer coupler so I will not need a drop hitch.
Any recommendations? Rancho Tuff Country...
fixed
drained everything, ran the fuel through a fuel/water separator funnel from tractor supply twice, put it back together and bled the system.
started right up
white smoke means it's starved for fuel
I drained the tank and found water. I cleaned the filter, lost the crush washer behind the banjo bolt and ran the fuel through a water separator filter and put about a gallon back in.
It still won't start and is leaking fuel when I run the fuel pump at the banjo bolt but my big question is, will...
Yeehaw, that's what I was thinking. Guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow. Is the white exhaust smoke normal if there is water in the fuel?my fuel filter is a graci type with the glass bowl. The one on my boat lets you drain the crap without taking the filter apart.
