    Welcome to the wonderful world of the rev xp :roflmao: my 08 mxzx800 would blow a belt every 100-150 miles and my brothers 08 mxzx800 would get a little over 200 miles to a belt. My old mans 08 mxzx800 has not to this day blown a belt. I probably went through 12 or 13 belts in the 07-08 season...

    Yeah x2 if you really care about keeping your motor together I've told my tuners every time to tune it for disaster and see how long it takes to die :rofl: my dd is hurting pretty bad and my puller isn't doing so good either :thumb: it took a couple 2 3 hooks to hurt my dd but I still drive her...

    I say go for it. Get a good converter, dual fuelers, s475, injectors and see what happens. You never know the rods could come through the block before the trans blows. I'm still waiting to check my rods through the inspection hole :roflmao:

    CT2500 has a pretty mint dodge to watch out for in ct :thumb: he's beaten me a few times in the last couple years

    For CT all you really need is a 500hp tune, rear blocks, and a good steering setup and you'll be wiping your ass with just about every ford and dodge around here. :roflmao:

    Definitely sounds like a bad converter. It's not possible for an Allison to lock the tcc in 1st gear correct?

    Pulley or Belt?

    You could pour a little water on the belt with it running and if the noise goes away or changes it's the belt if not it's one or more of the pulleys.

    I've see some air to water plumbing kits that run a radiator to cool the water. These would be more realistic than having to add ice every mile but I have never seen anyone actually run this setup and i doubt it would really work. Every one I've seen has been on a racer or puller and they go...

    Pulley or Belt?

    The fan shroud doesn't have to come out to change the belt. take the belt off and spin the pulleys by hand. The tensioner and idlers are common.
