    I hope you disconnected the non-ecm connector for this cable, such that the only path to ground would be to the battery negative terminal. Also, looking at a connection is not the same as testing the connection. Sometimes the results are the same, sometimes not.

    930036055 is advertised as a stock replacement. You might call the selling vendor or Mahle and see if they understand why you would have a problem like this. You have checked to make sure that the pistons oriented correctly? I'm sure you did, just had to ask.

    You can confirm the end of a wire by attaching DVM probes to both ends. But you must identify both ends. Set your DVM to continuity mode

    What was the clearance between the TC (pushed back into the trans all the way) and the flex plate? I THINK 1/8" is min and 3/16 is better. Not sure where that came from, though. Mike L will tell us, I'm sure

    If you have anything plugged into the DLC, remove it until your problem is solved. Aftermarket electronics of any kind can be a problem.
