I'm not surprised. One day I was driving my Mercedes (gas engine) and stopped at a Costco that has diesel fuel. Not a lot of Costco's carry diesel, but this one did. I found myself trying to squeeze the diesel nozzle into the smaller gas fill opening and workiing at it with some gusto, before I caught myself being very stupid. It happens.
