Familiar with that forum. Yeah some of the pics I've seen there blow me away. And I know 99% of people won't notice. But I see all my mistakes from 10ft away. But that's true with most of what I do.- Poltergeist

Got the backsplashes done in the kitchen. I think the backsplashes came out OK. I know there are guys on here that will cringe at them but I've also seen some pro jobs that were a lot worst so what the hell. Still need to put the handles on the cabinets.- Poltergeist

Ahh the fun of remodeling an old house. Got the appliances last Friday so wanted to hook them up. Well my house was built in 1952. What has changed since then :confused: well gas fittings for one thing. A 1/2" wouldn't fit and a 5/8" slipped right over the fitting. Found out about the standard...- Poltergeist

A little update before starting the Thanksgiving fun. Got some of the lower cabinets installed. Had an 'oh shit' moment last night, realized the refrigerator that I had on order and being delivered tomorrow was not going to fit. Had to run to Lowes and cancel the original and order another one...- Poltergeist
