L5P will barely start, then die Please Help

Looks like progress. So it runs, does it run evenly at idle? Rev up OK?

    Battery Issues

They used the correct procedure to test a battery. They aren't testing to see if someone charged it up, they are testing to see if it will produce the stated electrical capacity at the proper battery voltage. You may have another problem with the battery, maybe something is drawing it down...

If you were close to 50ma, that would be worth looking into. I'd be a lot happier at 25ma or less

LLY Truck Crank Signal Issue - P0335

Yup, anytime the FPR is not powered for any reason, you get full fuel pressure. There is definitely a problem in the FPR or wiring somewhere.

L5P will barely start, then die Please Help

Post 19, idle at 600, very low, 13K desired and actual furnished by the CP3. Are you saying that the ECM has upped the demand pressure because the idle needs to be raised to 700/750? Ignore this as being the cause of the engine running poorly?

L5P will barely start, then die Please Help

Randy Anything new to report? I assume you still have the P0016 Cam/Crank correlation problem? And fuel rail pressure is unexplained for a barely running engine?

    LB7 with 40 engine codes

You removed the Quadzilla Stealth 2 that presumably allowed you to operate with no EGR. Is that tune still in the truck? If not what tune is now in the truck?

    Block or head resurfacing?

You will have to carefully check the block to make sure it is flat and in good condition. If the engine was crudded up, had rust, corrosion etc on the head surface of the block, you may need to have it surfaced. It's just something you will have to gauge when you tear it down.

    PRND321 underline issue

It kind of sounds like TCM, but that's a wild guess. I suggest you call Evan. He's a very smart guy and likely the shortest path to the solution of your problem

L5P will barely start, then die Please Help

The pump seems to create the necessary pressure, but not the right pressure for 600 RPM. If the FPR was disconnected electrically, perhaps some other electrical problems, short to power, short to ground, etc, I would expect to see the pump at FULL PRESSURE, 25K or more, whatever these L5P pumps...

    Coolant flush on the LMM

My 2008 hasn't had a cap problem. I did run a 20 lb cap for a few years, but I didn't need that much pressure so put the old 15 lb cap back in. They're pretty problem-free as long as you change the coolant every once in a while.

L5P injectors require back pressure to operate?

For LML injectors: The injectors require a minimum of 3 BAR (45 psi) of pressure in the return system. Pressure is maintained via a “Constant Pressure Regulator” at 4-11 BAR (58-160 PSI). Is the same true for L5P injectors?

    Water intrusion

My method is to use painters tape and cover as much of the suspected area as you think might stop the leak. Then apply water and see if the leak stops. If still leaking, increase the coverage area; if the leak stops, remove some of the tape, say 25%, and see if it begins again. If it leaks, find...
