    The Bosch 15.1 will do just about anything you could want but the price tag was ridiculous, I think somewhere in the neighborhood of 11K when they bought it for their truck. The Nira looks like it would do everything someone needs for a lot less IIRC around 3K, not sure on the price though...

    Haven't heard anything about the ATS standalone. Joesixpack on CompD is running a Nira on his CR Dodge. I also spent some time with Dominator Diesel's CR when they put the Bosch 15.1 standalone on. Are you talking about running one for a Dmax?

    Pretty much. Heat being the energy driving the turbine, the more you can harness and keep from radiating into the engine bay, the better off you are. As said before, you can run the truck as hard as you want and still touch the blankets bare handed. They're very helpful in lowering underhood...
