    Check the water pump?? A leak there will have coolant pushed down the block from the fan and /or wind through the stack

    Everything I could find (which wasn't much) says the relay control for the cargo lamp is in the bcm.... It's also on a timer....something like 10 or 15 mins. I guess the one thing I can't figure is if the relay needs power to kick on the new lights, but my tap point on the cargo lamp switch...

    As it sits right now, I have the lights hooked to 87, 85 is grounded to the frame, 30 is my power from the fuse, and 86 is my trigger wire coming from the cargo lamp switch inside. However, the cargo lamp switch is powered all the time until it's turned on....then that line loses power. If...

    Trying to wire in bed lighting in my 06. Power and ground run up under hood. Power leg run to a relay, ground to frame. Pulled power for relay from the fuse box. Here's the fun part...... Went to run my switch trigger from the cargo lamp switch and it works on a ground. Power to the cargo...

    08 LMM Battery replacement frequency

    Between 4 trucks, I've shit out 18 batteries....all started with OE, replaced with Optima, those shit the bed within a year. Running interstates now and those have treated me well. 2 yrs is BS, a decent battery in Vegas will do 4-5 yrs, even with our 110+ summers and 30* winters

    LLY: Help! Parasitic battery drain problem

    Had a similar issue on my LLY. Had to be something body related though....had the truck torn down for headgaskets so ECM, TCM and GPCM were all unplugged. Hooked batteries back up after trucks as torn down so I could use the keyless entry to get in and out of it. It sat for about 2 weeks...
