    Don't guess at it. Have a good tech put a scanner on it and watch what the converter is doing.

    They are known for having converter problems. I hate the one in my truck. Ask James Carter about it. It is the worst trans I have ever driven.

    Many reasons to not use them. They are too thin, loss of friction area due to slots. You will find a high spot in the steel plate slots on one side because of stamping procedure which will start to shave frinction material and plug internal filter. Alto G3 clutches or Raybestos ( Suncoast )...

    Like Tom said. You cannot look at them and tell they are good. I've seen plenty of bad batterys that were near new. Assume everything is wrong untill you prove it right.
