I was quoted $11k ~3 years ago on my 99 ECSB that needed some decent bodywork.

Payments at $200 a month for another vehicle, it only needs to last 5 months for it to be worth it lol. Then get $200 sending it to the scrapper. I agree though. There are a few cash cars, roughly $2000, that might be okay but I have no experience with them.

October '24 Chat -- Ghosts, Ghouls and Goblins Galore!

Dropped off Pontiac engine at machine shop on Monday, waiting for them to call me back to say it is done and then I will rebuild it in the garage. Looking at a new car for girlfriend. She currently has a 2017 Toyota Corolla. I am thinking about a TDI Passat or Jetta, 2010-2014 probably. I need...

    Hood stack exhaust support brace.

This is kind of what I was thinking too but the solution to that is put it on a joint methinks. IDK, not a fab guy, more like certified jerry rigger.

Could probably fab a support that goes to the fender near the cowl/hood hinge.

My friend an hour north of Orlando is in TX this week and his wife is at home. He said he wasn't worried about it. My other friend in Tampa drove up to his parents' place in Charlotte, NC and decided to stay there for a while.

    September '24 Chat -- School's In!

He has been talking about that for a while on his YouTube shorts. I scroll across them every now and then and I seem to recall he was doing that a while ago. If that guy does turn his Discovery show into some drama filled nonsense then that will be very homo

Is Dave's Auto Center really that bad to watch? I know he has a hard on for telling me to change my oil every 3k miles and there is no way he isn't sponsored by those speed of air pistons

    Chevy1925 (James) Truck/motor build

@JoshH I spoke to them about redoing an extra 04 wheel I planned on sticking in my 99 and I think we talked about doing the foam but actually wrapping it in leather. It's been a long time I never got around to the project.

Did Craft Customs move? They were in Rockwall last I spoke to them. And yes they do VERY good work. They take the wheel completely apart and redo it. @1FastBrick yonke

If you have any info on this send it to me. I have never seen it done on a powered 12 way. Getting the powered part isn't too bad but I do want to retain memory function etc. I wonder if I can just install 03-07 bottom foam on my 99, that may look funky though.
