    A turbo brake would also be a plus compared to the xe69. although it was non existent before on the 72. The end result is to have a 8-900hp truck that can be a weekend sled pull or drag race truck and tow a heavy trailer during the week without sacrificing hp or mileage

    I currently got away from vgts as I went through 3 of the 72s, one of them being a 72R. I couldn't really pull a trailer that good with it which is why I switched to a sxe69. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of power and fuel are you throwing at your 68R/480?

    Just polished up all the grounds and checked fumes, the ficm is labeled ecm2 correct ? It's an 01. And miles don't matter, it has 220k.

    Yes sir on each harness bale connector. I took the injector plugs off and dielectric greased all plugs

    Put a stock ecm I have licensed here to my v2 on it and still has the same symptoms. I tried a spare ficm here and didn't cure the issue unfortunately

    I took all 8 glow plugs out and turned it over by hand to flush out the coolant before trying to turnover via starter. I am beginning to think it's electrical in the harness or maybe rubbing in certain spots. Anyone ever ohmed out a harness to test it ?

    Running a compression test here soon when I get back. No change after changing pigtails and unplugging batteries for a bit. #7 cyl still unresponsive on selecting individual injectors

    Balancer isn't wobbling or doing the normal crank issue. No crank position codes either. Going to try switching an ficm off another truck to try it. Anyone know where you can find the correct thread adapter for a compression test through the glow plugs?
