HELP--Thread size on 11.5" Pinion Gear Shaft ???

Not sure if this thread is in the right place or not. I buggered up the thread on the pinion shaft while removing the pinion gear to replace the front pinion bearing . it was pretty shot and I guess it kind of seized up a little more than usual. I do not want to replace the ring and pinion on it...

Who's running TRIPLES and how do you like em verses compounds

I'm after awesome street manners , quick spool up on the street but same over all performance as a large set of compounds . 1200-1400 RWHP . Current setup has no real boost rolling down the road . I figure with smaller turbos there should be 5# or more rolling down the road say at 1800-2000 rpm...

Who's running TRIPLES and how do you like em verses compounds

I figured I'm on my second set of compounds . I'm like Mike never totally satisfied and wanting the next best thing . I was thinking triples last time I put it together . I'm a bit more hell bent on triples on this current build .

Who's running TRIPLES and how do you like em verses compounds

I see what your saying given the valley sees the exhaust flow first the atmos spool at slightly higher rpm before they get going good . Still 2 smaller turbos spool easier than 1 big atmo even though they share the exhaust flow after the valley charger ?

Who's running TRIPLES and how do you like em verses compounds

I see . I wonder if a lot of the success that Mike's combo is having isn't because they all three come in simultaneously or realitively close plus the 72 being the biggest so they spool quick at a lower RPM and still support top end power at a higher RPM with a flat power curve through out

Who's running TRIPLES and how do you like em verses compounds

I thought of triples utilizing my GTX4508R (80mm) and adding 2--SXE369s or SXE366s . Logic being the SXEs would help a lot with low RPM spool/boost blowing thru the 80 then the 80 would come in for the top end . Does that sound logical/feasible . Or is my theory off ? My compounds can hit that...

Who's running TRIPLES and how do you like em verses compounds

Let's say to where it spools as quick as my old combo or better but with potent for 1300--1400 RWHP hell I would settle for 1200-1300 . Old compounds were DP 72 VVT ( not the R version) paired to an S483 BMW with race cover .

Lol. How would I work that into a triple set ? 3 big turbos of different sizes . That would be different ! :roflmao::roflmao:

Who's running TRIPLES and how do you like em verses compounds

I would like to resurrect this thread since there are more out there with triples since 1++ years ago . I went with compounds since my original post but I'm in the middle of a new build as noted in my Sig and will go to Triples this go around if I can sell turbos I have now . I would like to...
