    Got the transfer case tone rings fitted on the yokes. Will tack em once we mount the pickups. Had full intention to mount trans back up today, but woke up with chills, shakes, 101f temp. So spent half day in a line to get a rapid covid test. I've failed 3 times now, so hopefully I feel well...

    I agree the new trigger is down and dirty way to go. So far I've successfully done cax files for map scaling and a 12khz maf off the vette. Ring tooth count could be in a2l, or not. IF found full source, I know some people over in India who code really really cheap. I'd toss a 5 or 10 at it...

    Love the build. Couple years back I saw Banks LBZ/LMM to L5P setup on a shop tour. Never noticed the reluctor ring, but is it the crank tooth difference only, or cam also? Wonder if we could change the pulse count in the ECM with a cax file easier.. Been dying to drop an l5P one in a boat...

    Played with em for a couple hours last night, think these will work out with a bit of tuning. Feeding them a fake generated pulse signal on both speed sensors, and only 3 codes. Next, hook up the bench ECM and see if they play nice together. Gotta love GM, they foreseen what I was doing before...

    Since the T42 doesn't have input for an actual line pressure sensor, I'll probably use em for a short period to check output shaft speed. Just lock out all the DTCs so it can't limp the ECM. On the bench I have a T87, but can't find the pinout to see if those have a 0-5v sensor line. Sent...

    I forget, it's back a few pages.. Pretty loose, 106 if I recall. Only problem they have is holding boost below 1700r heavily loaded. Engines only making about 1150EGT, and then run that thru a water cooled pipe before it gets to the turbine wheel.. They just need a little shot of juice right...

    Looking good. (y) On your parts list above, the only thing I wouldn't go with again, coated pistons.. The TBC adhesion just didn't pan out. Luckily we caught it right after the dyno runs. Can't speak to the "gold" coating, but I'm rolling polished tops ovals these days.
