    My grandfathers feed pickup which is a shortbed lb7 the fuel gauge doesn't work and he forgets to fill it up before leaving the ranch sometimes and I always get the call that he's ran out of fuel. I've put in 25.2 gal before in that truck. And the tank was bone dry.

    I threw standard mirrors back on to replace my shakey cheap eBay tow mirrors. Sold my wheels and tires and ordered new 18x9 with toyo proxes ii. Old setup per corner 90lbs new setup 69lbs :D

    Try Full Flashing it? Any security systems on the truck or aftermarket stereo? Ive ran into that problem several times and I've had to pull the ECM out and swap it into another truck to flash it.

    I really never had a problem with the 05 and 03 OS just driving normal and doing 1/2 and 3/4 pulls it's just they seemed to not learn and addapt as quickly as the 01 OS causing the hard shifts at WOT from a launch. Even with the tech 2 fast relearn those OS don't perform like the 01 OS did and...

    My 03 shifted nice just 1/2 throttle stuff and it did ok from a roll WOT at any speeds but when launching my 1-2 3-4 shifts were horrible. I literally just went for a test drive after flashing the 01 OS back in and ahh :angel: shifts so nice again.

    I've seen this many times and usually caused by the stud not seated all the way down. I do what Kyle does and haven't had a problem.

    Try living 30 miles from the nearest town on a ranch in the middle of no where lol should see how pitted my windshield is from the dust stroms. I'm running a twin kit and have no issues with it running down 23 mile dirt roads. :hug:

    S475/ stock setup gets my vote once again. Great spool up, drivability, low egts, low drive pressures, tow with cool temps and can put down all the power you would want to put to a stock engine.

    Good info Mike I might have to try the 03 OS out of one of our ranch trucks. I miss my OD lockout when towing using my 01 OS.

    I'm running the 15175854 OS out of my 01 in my LLY and I love the way it shifts, IMO it adapts quicker to the tune and power differences and almost seems to click off the shifts faster. Only thing I do miss is the OD lockout. My stock TCM OS shifted hard and 3-4 shifts would never really learn.
