    Tial vs Synapse Wastegates

    I have 2 40mm (non v-band) Synapse gates on my race truck and was thinking about giving the Tial a shot to see the difference. Do anyone know if the 2 are interchangable considering the piping is already done? i would think they are but im not sure. thanks dustin

    i torque stock ones to around 28-30ft lbs and i torque by billet ones with billet hold downs to around 35ft lbs. no issues yet. on stock bolts i ALWAYS use new bolts and coppers regardless what they "look" like.

    I just run a hose from the Van thermostat housing to the driverside of my gtx4202 and the the passenger route it back to the pipe that was there for the stock turbo that leads done to the black pipe that connects the thermostat housing to the waterpump housing. i just use -8 an lines

    I dont believe so Jerry. I believe anything slower than 10.0 you can use factory seats. I know Ken has gone 10s on stock seat/stock seat belt. Now if you use a aftermarket seat, you are required to have that secured to the bar and SFI restraints.

    That sounds pretty similar to what mine sounded like when my old converter let go. i thought it was flexplate at first also but turned out to be the converter. not saying that is 100% your problem but just my past experience
