    That was the smart thing to do. I had mine removed also a year after the originally surgery. That rod is why we are seeing this particular ortho. Our normal one didn't want to do the hip replacement with that rod.

    Thanks everyone. Just hope the rod in his femur, he never had removed, comes out easy or they will have to break it up into 2 surgeries which will bite. Nah it's right hip:thumb: They say 6 weeks to drive, but I doubt he will take my driving that long :roflmao:

    Thanks :thumb: Only inflatable we put up this year, as i will have to take everything down. :eek: Just hope everything goes smooth and he can come home Christmas day. Figured he couple play with it today and was better then just getting a new hip for Christmas:woott:
