why is my truck eating belts???

Are you getting your belts from gm or a parts store? Oriellys belts are a hair bigger than gms for an lb7. They will work fine on a stock truck, but not on a modded truck. 4 or 5 years ago i went through 3 or 4 belts before i put one from gm on and didnt have anymore problem.s

    Straight centerlink

For a full time pulling truck that doesnt see a lot or any street use, straight centerlinks work great. Its pretty easy to build a brace that stops toe in too. Ive known pullers doing it since 02. Its some metal, some welding, and a turn buckle with swivels on the end. About 30 bucks worth...

    Pulling Pucks

I see what you are saying, but i think at that point gravity, chassis set up, and shocks are the only thing holding the front down. I would think if the suspension was still pushing the tires down the front end would just keep raising on up with the down force on the hitch. If i can find a...

    Kill Switches...

Most places in the midwest require an air shut off, including PPL this year. An electrical wont pass tech. The associations i pull with wont even allow an electrical air shut off, it has to be mechanical.

You can go just a little, but to much loads the suspension and turns into an epic fail.

Yes, the truck will just lift to the same position, but if it starts out higher, it lifts less, and you lose less hitch height. We used 1" threaded rod (most race shops have it) and welded a nut to the top of the old stops, so now the rod screws down through the old mount and hits the a arm.

By adjusting compression distance, you also adjust rebound height, which inturn helps maintain hitch height. It also helps a ton trying to turn with 35s and stock height.

    Pulling Pucks

Yeah, if thats the case, just make them adjustable instead of having to run different pieces of pipe.
