    For the power steering fluid just unhook the return line from the hydroboost (rubber line) and run a longer hose into a catch can. With the truck running, start pumping the brakes and turning the steering wheel 1/4-1/2 turn either way. Make sure you keep the reservoir filled and keep doing it...

    Sounds like you just need a new rj-45 plug? Should be able to get a new one crimped on at an electronic type store.
