    S400 sx-e 88/96

The 7 blade wheel can gulp more air on the top end instead of getting choked out like 10 and 11 blade wheels do.

    S400 sx-e 88/96

There has been alot of talk on other forums about the 10 blade SXE compressor wheels. Some very smart turbo guys don't like the design and say not to expect anything to wild from them, also mention of the 96mm turbine being undersized for that large of a compressor. I'm sure the turbo is still...

    That would be it.

Allison 5sp: stupid ppe stage 4 question

Don't polish the valve. You'll ruin it. Sunnex makes a reamer and new valve with a stiffer spring. Probably what you'll end up need to do.

But while we're on air compressors...here's my new ingersoll rand compressor. Very happy with it so far. Advertised at 14.1cfm, but actual calculations are coming in at right on 15cfm.

I've got the same one, or atleast an older version of it. Bought it used off the local classifieds for $100. Found out when I got home the tank was rusted out. Cut the mounting plate off and welded it to a 22 gallon tank a buddy gave me and remounted the husky motor and pump. Build date on the...

    Jeep Liberty burning oil

I posted about this over on some jeep forums, but am having no luck over there. I purchased a 2003.5 Liberty 3.7 limited about a year and a half ago for the wife. It has been a great vehicle. It runs excellent, very quiet and it drives great. Recently we took it on a 1500 mile trip and...

    Suspension setups...shocks, overloads, ladder bars

I finally got the rear shocks on the other day. Rancho 9000's all around with caltracs. The truck feels very good and way more under control than it has ever felt. Haven't made it to the track yet though.

Allison 5sp: Allison 5 speed harsh 3-4 up shift

Who built it? How many clutches in the c2? What input drum mods were done? What were the clearances?

Boost leak test- hot side pipe ID?

That pvc is well rated for that pressure. Standard pvc pipe is rated at 300psi.

Boost leak test- hot side pipe ID?

Yea that will work. Make sure the clamp is fully snugged up or else this will put a hole in the wall when it flys out. With a solid clamp, I have had this at 45+psi no problem.

Boost leak test- hot side pipe ID?

Home depot or lowes has this. Couple bucks and works great. 2 3/8" outside diameter.

    3.42s in a Street Truck

I'd say you'll want to shift around 4000rpm. I have a baby stage 1 empire cam and I shift at 3700-3800 rpm. I tried 4000+ but it made zero difference, so I dropped it down. My truck is dead even at 7000lbs. If you plan to regularly run those tires, I'd say 3.42's would be wise. If it's a weekend...

    3.42s in a Street Truck

That is a pretty short tire. 28.8" tall. With stock gears and 30x14 slicks, going through the traps at 135mph put me around 4200rpm. I'd have to think the 3.42's would more than make up for it though.

Boost leak test- hot side pipe ID?

Is this a stock pipe? Or aftermarket?

    Suspension setups...shocks, overloads, ladder bars

The lower holes look like it will give more leverage, loading harder. Atleast that's the way it makes sense in my brain.
