    "stock" won't be very fun. That 83 will be way to much charger to run with a stock turbo. I also wouldn;t use a stock set of uppipes with an egr port for a high horsepower setup.

    I think if you plan on spending any amount of time with the trailers behind the truck a 69/88 setup will be too big. Yes it will be fast but have fun trying to control EGTs.

    Lots of people think they bought good injectors but they end up being junk. I'd find out where the injectors came from and how many miles they have on them. Also find out if the truck has ever been tuned before.

    Danville 68 Stage 2R and a TCTS483. Quick spool with power potential up around 1100.

    If I were you I would go back to VGT. You could sell the S400 and install kit and cover most of the cost of swapping back to a Danville 68r.

    The big questions are 1.) How often were you using the 500hp tune? 2.) What tune did you tow on? It is very possible to make 500hp through a stock 6 speed but if you were to ever try and tow on a tune that actually made 500hp you'd last a weekend.

    If it is actually making 500hp then your transmission would be fried. If you are towing an 8000lb mini at 500hp you would have cracked a piston by now. How is it tuned? To answer your question, an egr delete is a good idea but you will need a fingerstick or custom tuning so that the code...

    Just because your two motors didn't break cranks doesn't mean there isn't an issue. If you drove drunk all the time but never crashed would you think DUIs were just hype?

    Since when does torque down low break crankshafts? Mine broke cruising down the highway under basically no load at all and no boost. It is harmonics.

    You also swear by fixed vane chargers. My 72R/483 combo with 100 overs doesn't even haze on my small tune. Wide open from a dead stop it is clean as stock.
