This is my first diesel, I could never go back to a gasser again!! He's an 09 LMM, 65,000 miles, clean, runs like a champ... Taking him in for complete delete tomorrow ... Is there anything I need to know /ask /request when I take it in? I've been cramming a much info into this bald head of mine as I can about the world diesels, but so have a long way to go! It's a fun journey so far though! Do I need to get a tuner now when I do this? I'm basically just in the hunt for a much knowledge/info I can get! Pile it on me, don't assume I know anything! Thanks guys!

Nobody should really be openly discussing deleting emissions because it is illegal but if one were to delete emissions one would need a tuner like EFI live to turn off codes

Why do I keep doing this?

Yeah, just keep it on the down-low, for the shop and tuner's sake. BTW, yes you need a custom EFILive tune for it.

So we pushed my delete to next week, they got all the info they needed from my truck and are ordering an EFI live tuner that's tuned for my rig. They explained more about the delete to me today, I'm super stoked... Also I'm going to hold off if the Google chips for now... Should have enough power without them ;)
