You can check the rpo codes and look for FE9 and NF2 (possibly in the NF1-8 range). Another quick check is to look at the glow plugs. Cali trucks are individually wired and federal use the bar.- darkness

Nothing different tuning wise. Hell, you can even run 01-02, 03-04 scripts over each other without issue. You will get the errors for the missing/added tables but just click ok. I personally like the 01-02 Chevy front ends better than the cat eyes and I’ve seen ss bumpers on the earlier as well.- darkness

Stolen LLY in Colorado
I just had a Mike L. trans installed a week before my Lbz was stolen the second time. And probably only had the truck back from the body shop after the first theft a couple weeks. Insurance got the trans bill and even the bill from the body shop they paid for haha the first time. I got $23,000...- darkness

As far as the ecm controlling the injectors, when I was trying to figure out what to cut for a kill switch, I cut 2 wires to the ficm that I thought were power wires. Neither one kept the truck from starting and running. Very possible I didn’t have the right wires but thought it was odd. But all...- darkness

Tune, twin turbo, gears if bigger tires. And one not mentioned I don’t think is ‘06+ tow mirrors on previous year models. -

There is a very definitive line between the browning and clean forging. Is that do to more hammering of the bevel?- darkness

05 transmission in 02 truck?
If I remember the ‘04 trans had the g solenoid and wasn’t used. Didn’t it have something to do with fluid flow while idling/off throttle sending fluid thru the cooler?- darkness
