    truck towing pictures...

This was last weeks trip to Indiana for an LMM parts truck. Love the way it looks and rides, but absolutely ruined it as far as towing thru the hills with the 35’s.

    truck towing pictures...

Yea it’s a Mohawk System 1A 9000lb, but I think it’s actually relatively newer, as it’s got the 2 lines and the reinforcement rib half way up the column that’s identical to the present day 10k. I sent them an email with the serial number, waiting on a response for the mfg date. I had two older...

Need some opinions on 2010 LMM build

Maybe I'll throw it all together on the truck now and see how it performs with stock fuel and stock bottom end while the spare motor is being built. I likely won't finish the built bottom end until the end of this year. Gearing up for a decent trip with the camper this summer, and I don't see...

Need some opinions on 2010 LMM build

EGT’s can’t be any worse than they are now towing 10-12k on 35’s. Hoping the regear to 4.56 alleviates some of the strain. 600-650hp with the 65mm in the valley with a 12mm/100% overs? Thats kinda disappointing honestly, was hoping to get to that 850hp range. Or are you talking stock fueling?

Need some opinions on 2010 LMM build

Took a look at the s475 today after yanking it all off the donor, looks like it’s the cast 75mm/96mm/1.15 t6

Need some opinions on 2010 LMM build

Going to stick with the s475 to try to use up what’s laying around, that moneys better spent on fueling at this point. Why LBZ over LMM injectors ?

Need some opinions on 2010 LMM build

Trying to figure out what do do as far as fueling and the best course of action utilizing what parts I have on hand. Going to be building a spare engine. Have the following sitting on the shelf: Callie’s Durastar Crank Callie’s Rods Mahle Motorsports Cast Pistons, Stock bore Mahle Bearings...

    T87 Swaps

Good stuff! Can’t wait to get the prototype and put a couple thousand miles on it. I’ll find all the kinks in no time with what I put my truck thru 🤣

How do I get a ready to go Tech2?

From what I recall installing it the first time, I had to fiddle with some of the comm settings to get it to work. I’ve been using it with tech2win for about a year now with no issues.

Yes, it’s a j2534 pass thru device. I have it running on windows 10.

How do I get a ready to go Tech2?

Mongoose cable and the hacked laptop version off mhhauto works better than the Chinese clones.

    Snap On vs. Autel

I haven’t done it since probably 2019, but I was able to flash and code modules with the Maxisys Ultra back then with no issues. If thats changed since, then there’s no good reason to spend the money on the ultra over the 906pro ts. I bought a 906ts during Black Friday on Amazon for under a...

    Snap On vs. Autel

Its worth buying. If you get the Ultra, you should be able to basically program any BMW that comes in the door without having to buy their subscription, that was the main selling feature of them. If you don't do any flashing of BMW's, just get the cheaper 906pro-ts as the diagnostics software is...

    Snap On vs. Autel

I've been using both for the last 10 years, whatever the snap-on fails to do the autel usually does and vice versa. Neither do all that well with Allison TCM's, so I have a Tech 2 which is honestly what I end up using most of the time when working on 2014 and older trucks anyway. Theres no one...

can someone bring me up to speed on tuning?

I’d keep the lbz over the lml. The 10 speed isn’t a real Allison either. If you want newer find a 2017-2019.

    08 lmm shift inhibited

First one’s a pressure code, did you by chance replace the pressure switch and harness while you were doing filters and solenoids? It’s commonly set by fluid leaking past the little orange film membranes. It’s a relatively cheap part so I’d just replace it. Next two are emissions codes Last...

    T87 Swaps

Those studs on the bracket serve no real purpose in lmm/lml applications, I was going to cut them off. But, thinking out loud here, any way to get ears printed on the connector so that it would fit on and mount right to that t87 firewall bracket?
