    need opinions on tig welders

I have a Lincoln Squarewave 175, and it had been trouble free for the 14 years I've owned it. Just another option for you. I believe Miller actually owns Hobart.

    Info: Plasma cutter's

Right now I'm in the process of building a 2.6 pulling truck so I don't really want to spend $2500 on a plasma cutter. Looking for something more around $1000-$1300 range. I figure I can always go bigger down the road.

They used to be, but not any more! Really leaning toward the Hypertherm Powermax 30 Xp http://airgas.com/product/Welding-Products/Welders-%26-Accessories/Plasma-Cutters/p/HYP088079 http://youtu.be/hYBT3bb6X5M

    Question: GM IFS suspension set-up

I was able to mock up the coil overs this weekend. I cut the original bump stop bracket off the frame for clearance. I also removed the torsion bars and crossmember. You loose about 100lbs swapping to coil overs.

    Question: GM IFS suspension set-up

The ride height with the shock mount adapter would be 16.5-17". Truck sit's on the bump stops that I made to hold CV shafts level with weight on it.

    Question: GM IFS suspension set-up

Truck is not DD anymore, strictly track only. You think these would be too short? My truck at ride height sitting on bump stops is appr. 18" from bottom shock bolt to the top of shock bucket. Than subtract 1.5" for coil over shock mount bracket would put me at about 16.5" shock length at ride...

    Question: GM IFS suspension set-up

http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/suspension-steering/166059-coilover-setup.html Lol! Thanks! QA1/Viking performance is local to me, I might see what they set me up with. They sell a double adjustable coil over that might work for me and can come with a stud top mount.
