    Turbonetics GTK 650

Just checked and FI sells that unit.... maybe you can get a map out of them.

    Turbonetics GTK 650

Should flow similar to an s366. but I would need a compressor map to be sure. One thing for sure thought it will need to be gated. Turbonetics make good chargers. I have several friends that run them on their cars and I haven't heard a bit of problem out of any of them.

    Boosted Launch Improvement?

I run the fronts on 2 and the backs on 9 for the track. 9 all around for street driving.

    LML Boosted launch

a 5psi 4wd launch will probably be worse then 2wd

    LML Boosted launch

even if the tie rods hold there's nothing stopping centerlink movement.. don't expect it to be fun when you drop the brake. Hopefully you'll be able to drive it home

    Tuff Country Traction bars

Agreed, Nothing to do with the cost really just a faulty design. I think for $150 you could make some much more effective bars.

    Tuff Country Traction bars

That is not going to effectively stop the axle from trying to roll forward. However I do plan on building a similar set for drifting pourposes... EDIT: Remember, when axles wrap they do not rotate at their centerpoint.. they walk forward or back.

    Boosted Launch Improvement?

The z71 ones are solid. I forget the PN but any half decent parts counter guy at the dealership should be able to get them.

    drive pressure

but how does the air being pushed into the motor translate into efficency?

    drive pressure

Sorry not trying to be a dick just realized I came off that way a little. I'm just generally interested in your train of thought..maybe there's something I didn't realize or think about. Ben, but you can do that logging at the compressor... it's not going to be a very large difference unless...

But what are you gaining realisticaly by reading at the manifold and not the compressor?
  16. Redbowties88

    drive pressure

If you're not concerned about efficency then why are you monitering DP? I thought that is what this thread was about lol. If you're loosing 13psi in the intake tract then I think you're got a bigger issue then efficency. If you want to minimize your DP:BP ratio then you need to moniter your...

    drive pressure

Why? all thats really going to tell you is how well your CAC and plumbing is working. If you were running a gasser and had to keep the AFR's in check I would agree with you but that doesn't really matter on a diesel...at least not the variation between the compressor and manifold..unless you've...

    drive pressure

How does that make any sense whatsoever? How are you going to measure turbo efficency (which is what you're trying to do with a DP gauge) with an inaccurate reading of what the turbo is putting out?

    First pull fail

Yea that warranty aint worth a god damn thing, apparenty for one to snap in half it must of been "abused" I went in circles forever with those idiots and they wouldn't give me anything

    drive pressure

Well Y bridge would mean you're seeing what boost the ybride is seeing (probably just a tiny smidge more then what the manifolds are seeing) and I'm seeing what the turbo is producting before loosing some due to the intercooler and possible pipinf restrictions yada yada. The close you can get...
