From what I have found is i would need 100+ injectors on e85 to make 800+ hp. I picked up a 5.3 for $250 so im going to push it to its limits on e85 and boost. Kind of like the hotrod mag motor they did.- 05chevy

From what I have found E85 injectors are a little more expensive then gas injectors. Maybe im looking in the wrong places.- 05chevy

The reason im going with a carb is I plan to run e86 and boost the snot out of this motor. 100+lb e85 injectors are $2000+. A e85 carb to support a 1000hp is $850. I thought about leaving it the way it is from the factory but later down the road I think it will cost me more. How could I make...- 05chevy

Has anyone here do a stand alone for a 4l80e? If so what all does it involve? Do i still need the factory harness and tcm or will it do away with it? Im putting a carburated 5.3l in a 68 c10 and want the 4l80e for OD. The 5.3l will be operating off of a MSD box so I wont have a ecm to...- 05chevy

I have a biddy that works for Toyota ans he said that truck was fried everything in the truck pulling the ship. Trans was shot and motor would start once they shut it off. Truck was putting off so much heat that they couldnt stand next to it. Go way to ruin a $50k truck -

Yes the indicator works properly. The only code is p0700. I know that isnt a code but thats all that is coming up. I just picked up a gm wiring diagram today so hopefully I can straighten the rats nest up. Thanks for the replys- 05chevy
