    personally im not a lift fan, and for Alaska i dont really like them for the various road conditions. i dont have much of an answer for you but i would recommend trying to avoid the lift. my lb7 towed like crap on icy roads in 4x4, pulling hills it was way to squirrely when i got in the throttle...

    I towed 8500 twice with my half ton 5.3, was pushing it pretty hard, and the trans did feel that great after that.

    I didnt have one on my lb7 and air dog. Dont see a need for my application but it can't hurt to put on one

    id guess the parking gear is engaging id guess. did you rebuild yourself?

    Are you returning to much fuel? Try a bottle test. If your security light goes off after 3 seconds then the relearn is done

    That's the manual way of doing it. You can do it in less then a minute with a tech 2 or efi V2 also tho

    I realize that, but he never said if he had efi and this one is easy to Do if you arnt fluent on the efi program..

    Do you have a scan tool to see what your injection pump is doing?
