    Pin 31 is common 12 volt and 26 27 and 28 are grounded by the TCM to apply or release the solenoids according to my diagram. Since i ohmed it out through the D solenoid from the TCM (pin 27 and 31) and it checked ok does that mean its probably a solenoid failure when it gets hot or should i be...

    I'm working on a LLY that goes into limp mode and has this code, the solenoid clicks when commanded with the scan tool and ohms out at 22 ohms from the TCM connector... I was going to pull the VB and check for a sticking valve even though its normally "E" that sticks unless someone has somewhere...

    Ikr! I hate seeing this! Its one thing if a guy is making too much power and bends a rod or is being stupid or racing and melts a piston but a crank breaking is just bad luck!

    Well this thing made it a couple hundred miles and started missing. Bad injector on #1, gotta pull the body or drop the motor.

    Run it and watch the crank pulley. It should wobble. Sucks to see for sure if it is!

    I bet what happened is they didn't get the UCA bolts tight enough and its out again. They are hard to get to to properly tighten. I hate doing alignments on Chevy's and i own one. LOL

    Where is that? If close to western MD I'd be happy to come help you. Id say on those scratches that the ptw clearance was too tight or the engine was overheated.
