The back story to all this is that the Corps of Engineers screws up everything it does.

Ready for new tires, just bought truck

I did a 5 year tire test with my big, heavy 2000 Dodge 4x4, that I pull a 22 1/2 foot, 4500 pound trailer with, and the best tires I found were the Cooper AT3's. Hands-down better life than the Firestone Destination or Michelin MTX, that never saw the 20,000 mile mark.

    LML Fooling Urea

And I'll bet that you think that no one can get 1200 horsepower out of a Duramax or Cummins pickup engine? It CAN'T be done!!!!!!! What you REALLY mean is that YOU don't know how to do it!!!

    LML Fooling Urea

That reminds me of the day I bought a brand new CJ-5 in Denver back in 1979. The first thing I did to it the day after I bought it was to take off the cat, shove a 1 1/2 pipe down it and take out all the beads -thereby eliminating the smog crap on it. Then I took it to a friend's smog...

    LML Fooling Urea

You're so full of it it's coming out your ears!!!! 1. If man made the darned thing, man CAN find a way to fool it or modify it. GUARANTEED! 2. Certainly no one is so stupid as to think that an automaker has come up with a sensor that can smell the scent of a particular liquid - are they? So...

    LML Fooling Urea

So if the tank has it's own heater AND a temperature sensor that tells how cold it is outside, and the truck will run right when it's cold outside, then locate the stupid sensor and put it in a bucket of ice, or lengthen the sensor wires and put the sensor in an a/c duct! To anyone who thinks...

    LLY: Help Truck just died

I just put one on my 2000 Dodge and here's what I used: Go to Carquest and ask for their "improved" lift pump for a 2000 Dodge. This pump is an inline pump that will handle any stock Cummins, or Duramax and is really easy to make a mount for. All I did to mount it was weld a 4'x4" piece of...

    LLY: Losing prime

Yeah? So what do I need to do it and where do I have to buy whatever it needs? Is it just an o-ring that went south, or what? I'm kinda sorry I even bought this p.o.s. Duramax! I drive a 2000 Dodge now and I can't imagine Cummins doing something so stupid, like putting this goofy filter...

    LLY: Losing prime

I have a 2004 dually Duramax that I just bought, and all of a sudden it's losing prime every time I shut it off. Once I give it a whisp of ether it fires right up. I had a guy buy an old F350 Ford from me today and his buddy told me that the Duramax is known to have the o-ring on the fuel...

    LLY: HELP!!! "Won't accellerate"

I want to thank you guys for confirming what I suspected might be wrong with this truck. I went to Texas this week and bought it and had a diesel shop look at it, only to discover that (even though the seller told me he already installed a new TPS) mice had bitten through the entire TPS harness...

    LLY: HELP!!! "Won't accellerate"

If I send someone from a diesel shop to his place with a scanner they should probably be able to tell me for sure what it is - don't ya' think?

    LLY: HELP!!! "Won't accellerate"

I found a 2004 Silverado I want to buy, but the owner (an older man) says it will start and run, but it "won't accelerate". I tried to pin him down on that and he told me just that - that it will run, but when you lean on the go pedal it won't rev up any further. Speaking as a former (gas)...
