    LMM Logs

I wonder what I did wrong? In EFILive explorer I see the file, right click and copy, then save it to a location on my PC, then I use 7-zip to convert it to a .zip

    LMM Logs

I started it a couple times with very short duration, I am getting piston slap (detonation) from it now so I am really not comfortable running it I did switch ECMs with one that ran but had a bad AIT temp input and got some codes all with a P Prefix 0193 268C,D,E,F 2692 2690 2693 2691

I have figured out how to add PIDs so my next log should be better

    LMM Logs

I ran a short log but now cannot figure out how to retrieve it to my desktop, EFILive EDIT, fumbled along until I got it, the engine ran OK for about 1 second then went to crap during this log. I probably do not have anything useful as I asked on my other thread what to put into the log but did...

    LMM stand alone fail

I have cleaned all the connections with a little Deoxit and so far it is 99.9% better, I cannot really determine if the exhaust sounds different or if it is my imagination, it also seems like the turbo opens up to the "LBZ" setting faster than before when started cold, but no smoke and she idles...

    LMM stand alone fail

I did not make it out of the gate Sunday, I was opening the gate and she started to sound a little "raspy", withing a few seconds it was back to the YIT, YIT, YIT. I suspect another broken wire at one of the ECM connectors. The ECM was flung around pretty badly during the donor truck roll over...

    LMM stand alone fail

This brings up a question, I am missing one of the "bales" (the blue part that folds over and locks the connector) on one of the engine to body harness connectors, I believe they are both the same, is this a part that can be purchased separately? I am using tie wraps to hold it together now...

    LMM stand alone fail

This morning I turned off the batteries and re-seated the connectors on the ECM, she started up and ran rough for a few seconds, cleared up and seems to be as good as new, I must have shaken one of the connectors loose on the RR tracks (the smaller one did not look fully seated) HOORAY!!! I...

    LMM stand alone fail

Yes I do have EFILive, will try and get that set up, I have some chores to do first, might be tomorrow, I see 50Mpa fuel pressure during cranking., dropping to 45-47 on the odd occasion it tries to fire, will look at the crank when the wife gets home and she can crank it.

    LMM stand alone fail

I have no idea how to do that, I will try and research it, do you mean while I am trying to start it?

    LMM stand alone fail

Well I was showing my wife's boss the Duramax/Humvee and the last thing I heard when I left was "get on it" so I did but quickly came upon a RR crossing that was pretty rough so I shut it down and was braking as I past over the tracks, all was OK until I tried to accelerate on the other side of...

    MAP sensor?? 08 LMM

Thanks guys, that would explain the issues, I will check with GM and see if I can afford one.

    MAP sensor?? 08 LMM

My original Map sensor is physically damaged but works for now, the part number is 09373269, I see this cross to both a 2 and 3 BAR sensors and have tried both with immediate P0106 codes on each, both were supposedly direct replacements for the 09373269 sensor, I have to tie wrap the harness to...

The stand alone TCCM 08 LMM, the last hurdle

I was able to do the relearn by twisting the switch to the neutral request position with the truck in neutral and in the ign. switch in the ACC position. I am still curious how long the TCCM has to sit without battery before the learn is lost, I had the one out of my one ton for only a few...

GM TECH2 scan tool and OBD2TOOL seller

Don't need to now, the shift on the fly is very attractive for sand and it's what I had, (as long as you shift before you get into the bad stuff) if I had it all to do over again I would probably go with a manual case, but also as you said push button is cool. I will just have to change my plan...

GM TECH2 scan tool and OBD2TOOL seller

OK I figured out where acc was and that WORKED, YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!! So that brings up a dilemma, the HMMWV (stand alone LMM) has the GPS speedometer powered up all the time because it takes too long to boot and find the satellites, can be a 1/2 mile or so, no big deal as it only pulls about...

GM TECH2 scan tool and OBD2TOOL seller

I watched the video, do not understand acc position, I only have three positions, off/lock, run and start, I do not have or cannot get to the normal accessory position and even if I did I could not get to it in neutral

GM TECH2 scan tool and OBD2TOOL seller

I did see the Tech2win, I do not THINK I need to do a flash, I just need to reset or relearn the TCCM, on the scan tool I have now I can see the switch positions so the TCCM does at least can see what position the switch is in, but when I try to do a reset nothing happens, no motor activity at...

I read through 10 pages of one thread and am more confused than ever, do I need a laptop? do I need a subscription? what is the 2007/2008 split in interoperability? the NANO looks interesting (and even cheaper), at least it is obvious a laptop is necessary but again am confused on what software...
